We work with a major Greek bank to obtain mortgages for your construction in Crete.  Typical figures are:

up to 70% of property value

Maximum borrowing

up to 5 times income

Maximum period

up to 30 years

Interest rate

4.6% (varies)

Bank arrangement fees

1% plus Land Registry fee

 

For example, if you wanted to borrow 200.000€ against a property valued at 300.000€ over 20 years, you would need to provide proof of EU income of 40.000€ and make monthly repayments of around 1.300€. Bank arrangement fees (once-off) would be 2.000€ plus a Land Registry fee of around 500€.
